The Protein Misfolding and Neurological Disorders Meeting will be held on Dunk Island, near Cairns, from 17th-19th October immediately preceding the International Peptides conference. This symposium will focus on the neurochemical mechanisms that underlie these diseases, particularly focusing on the protein misfolding and deposition pathways that constitute the key pathological events in these diseases, as well as including talks on diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. The exotic island venue has just had a complete refurbish and is now more special than ever. Access is straightforward from Cairns and details of the arrangements will be posted on this site. The secretariat has negotiated a special all inclusive package on the island for delegates. There are options for room sharing to help keep costs down.
